By installing or using the Sprkt app ("the app"), you agree to the terms below. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. What Sprkt is

Sprkt - pronounced "Sprocket", is a personal organization tool that helps you track maintenance, components, and spending history for your bikes. All data is stored locally on your device.

2. Not technical or safety advice

Sprkt is a record-keeping and organization tool. It does not replace inspection, maintenance, or advice from a qualified bike mechanic. Component lifespan estimates are generic reference values and may not reflect your bike's actual wear. The decision to replace or not replace a component, and responsibility for your bike's safety, is always yours.

3. Using the app

You must be of legal age to accept these terms in your jurisdiction, or have the consent of a legal guardian
You agree not to use the app for unlawful purposes
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter

4. Your data

Data entered in the app belongs to you. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data (short answer: it doesn't leave your device unless you export it).

5. No warranties

Sprkt is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will always be available, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Sprkt and its developer are not liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the app, including data loss, maintenance decisions made based on the app, or incidents related to bike use.

7. Changes to the app

We may update, change, or discontinue app features at any time. We'll make a reasonable effort to communicate significant changes.

8. In-app purchases

If the app offers paid features, the specific terms of that purchase (price, nature of the purchase) will be clearly presented before confirmation, and such purchases will also be subject to the policies of the app store used (Google Play or App Store).

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to any rights granted to you by consumer protection legislation in your country of residence.
